Meet the Mullenbach Lab

 

Olivia G. VanBuskirk, M.S.

Olivia is a Ph.D. student in the Department of Geography and Environmental Sustainability at the University of Oklahoma and research assistant at the Southern Climate Impacts Planning Program. Her research focuses on climate adaptation and environmental justice in cities, and she plans to pursue a career in research and policy. Olivia earned her M.S. in Geography and Environmental Sustainability at the University of Oklahoma in summer 2022. Her thesis focused on how floodplain managers make decisions using weather and climate information. She also received B.S. degrees in Meteorology and Geographic Information Science from Central Michigan University in 2020.

Erica Kronenberger

Erica is an M.S. student in the Department of Geography and Environmental Sustainability at the University of Oklahoma (OU DGES). Previously, she worked as a Research Associate for the Southern Climate Impacts Planning Program (SCIPP), where she organized the first-ever SCIPP Climate Adaptation Summer Academy, which brought 20 undergraduate students from the South-Central U.S. to Norman to learn about climate adaptation strategies and careers within the discipline. Erica earned a B.A. in Environmental Sustainability from OU DGES in 2021. Her primary research interests include climate adaptation, sustainability, and climate justice.

madelyn Verno

Madelyn is a M.S. student in the Department of Geography and Environmental Sustainability at the University of Oklahoma. She is currently a graduate research assistant. Her research interests include drinking water, public health, natural resources, and environmental justice. Madelyn earned a B.S. in Geography from Penn State University in 2022.
